What is the purpose of a Visitor Card vs a Day Pass?

A day pass is issued to visitors, such as contractors, employees from different divisions, customers, etc. The visitor card menu option offers an easy way to allow access to visitors for a single day.

If a day pass cardholder does not return the day pass card, the card will expire the same day at 24:00 hours, and will no longer grant access.
